On the starter plan there's no monthly fee ($0/month) — you're only charged when an ambassador makes a sale. If no ambassador sells anything, you pay nothing.
The transaction fee is a percentage of your ambassador revenue, and it only applies to orders that had a ConvertOut discount code applied. On the starter plan that fee is 10%. Larger plans trade a monthly fee for a lower percentage.
Every plan includes every feature — you never need to upgrade to unlock something.
An example
Starter plan (10% transaction fee), a 10% ambassador commission and a 10% customer discount, on a $100 order:
- The customer pays $90 (10% discount).
- The ambassador earns $9 (10% of $90).
- The ConvertOut transaction fee is $9 (10% of $90).
Your commission and discount percentages are yours to set, so these numbers are just an illustration.
