ConvertOut does not offer refunds on app charges.
Instead, we keep the pricing low-risk from the start. The starter plan has no monthly fee — you are only charged a percentage when an ambassador actually generates a sale. If no ambassador sells anything, you pay nothing. You can install ConvertOut, build your program, and see exactly how it performs before any charge appears.
A few things worth knowing:
- Charges appear on your regular Shopify bill, not as a separate card charge.
- You are only charged on orders that used a ConvertOut discount code. See What counts as ambassador revenue?.
- You can switch plans at any time in the Billing tab, and uninstalling stops future charges.
If something looks wrong on your bill — a charge you can't account for, or a fee on an order you didn't expect — please get in touch. We'll always look into a billing error.
